WHITNEY HOUSTON DEAD
I am 48. I am a Recovering Addict. I am Fragile... I am a teacher... She was 48. She was sick. She was Fragile... Let Whitney be a teacher as well. Need I say more?

This was quite shocking to me Susan, even though I knew that she was dealing with a lot of issues. So sad that it took over her life. She was such a beautiful person. The really sad thing is that in ways, we are all fragile. Life itself is fragile. Love Di ♥
As ever Facebook and the blogsphere is rife with "opinion" - some are of the "why give a toss for a rich celeb who blew it all" - well she was a member of a family, feel for them - also one hopes just one person on hearing this thought "You know I'll do something about this" and does.
Steve Clark of Def Leppard is one I'll always remember. He was less than 2 years older than me. I already knew my drinking was a mess and had done for some time when he died. But he had it all! The band, the looks, the money, the guitars - everything I told me was wrong in my life he had... and still he drank himself to death. And I knew then that if I had been him I'd have done the same bloody thing. Sadly that was 1991 - I finally got sober in 2004 but at least I did finally get sober for Steve, Amy and now Whitney that chance eluded them
