Give up, giving up...

I am honored to report I made it to the Quarerfinals of the Bluecat Screenwriting Competition. Whoo!

No, I didn't write JAWS - that was the great Peter Benchley. And Steven something or other, directed the movie. I just liked the picture - lollll.
Okay, I'm not going to be shopping for knock-off designer red carpet dresses any time soon. But it sure does feel good working on something, without giving up.

Well... that's not entirely true. I almost gave up or what I fondly call pulled a "Sue", but I perserved. I'd like to give someone credit for mentoring me or pushing me to follow through, but it was all me this time. Or was it? Keep it real, Sue...

Can you share any time you were about to give up, but something or someone kept you going?

Hugs, Sue

Well, yes I could, but not on a public website!!

Lets just say my family needed me! (well, part of it)

I've wanted to give up on things many times. I guess it would be my hubby that keeps me going, reminding gently how much he and my kids need me!
I wish you well Susan, hope you go beyond the Quarterfinals!

Congrats to you! Oh there have been many times I wanted to give up on my journey to freedom from bondage. But, I hung on. All worth it thus far! Blessings.

Good for you!!! Giving up??? my father would say "He was to dumb to give up." :) this makes me smile when I think of that. . . when I'm doing something that is very hard for me ~ when it's over someone will say "wow! you worked on that for so long and you didn't give up". . .I think ...give up??? you mean I could have given up??? So in a sense "I'm to dumb to give up." Are there things I wish I could go back to and finish. . .YES!!! School ~ I would love a masters degree in education . . .I had a baby instead and liked him better so I had some more :) now that my youngest is 5 and my oldest is 19 I want to go back to school. Did I give that up ~ I don't think so... my life changed it's focus.

Congratulations again!!!
Your AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

I was also looking for help on addiction. I found an anorexia treatment programs center that really helped me out.
